THNIC Academy organized a training course titled “Computational Thinking and Programming Skill” for high school students from May 31 to June 3, 2025. The course received great interest, with many students applying. A total of 39 participants were selected, including 36 students from Tak province and 3 students from Phrae province.
Mr. Tharakorn Chanlapa, deputy director of THNIC Academy delivered the welcome remarks and introduced the THNIC Foundation’s mission, the activities of THNIC Academy, and also provided an introduction to the course’s details. The training session was led by Asst. Prof. Dr. Akara Prayote, a lecturer from the Department of Computer Science and Information at the Faculty of Applied Science, King Mongkut’s University of Technology North Bangkok, and his team of teaching assistants.



































The training focused on building knowledge in Computational Thinking and introducing Computer Science concepts through interactive game-based activities designed to enhance understanding of Algorithm Design. These activities helped students improve their analytical thinking and systematic problem-solving skills. Students also learned basic programming using App Lab to develop games, practicing screen design with Wireframing and UX/UI concepts.






A key highlight of the course was an activity where students practiced communication and storytelling skills through a drama performance. The performances incorporated keywords related to Tak province, stimulating creativity and teamwork. At the end of the program, students received guidance on further education and career paths in computer science and information technology. All students received certificates of completion.
